An ethical opinion: NEVER make a chicken omelet.

An ethical question: Do you kill and eat your chickens?
Please don't take offense to that one.


I had the sudden urge to make this thread in the B.Y.C. tapestry because I think that this could be useful.(Say, for instance, you're not sure how attached you should get to your chickens.)

First off, I love a good omelet. (Usually cooked by me.

) But a chicken omelet seems wrong. I mean, mixing a chicken with it's own eggs? Ew. I could probably eat them in the same meal, but not mixed.

Yeah, I'll probably eat most of my chickens.

New questions: Would you give your chicken a name like "Tasty" so not to get attached? (Not that I am going to.) And would you feed someone their favorite chicken?
