Chicken eye injury? Or eye worms?

Recently bought 6 week old chicks. I noticed one began having sensitivity in her left eye as she would blink and close it often. I didn’t think anything of it at first, then I noticed her eyelids would be glued shut in the mornings with what looked like pus or something. I applied antibiotic eye drops which seemed to clear up the infection. But now she has a clear fluid filled bubble with some cloudiness on her eye. It has drained a few times but comes back. Today I removed a gel like substance from it. She has been eating and drinking although not as voraciously as the others as she weighs less than them. I haven’t noticed any coughing or difficulty breathing. No other chicken has the same eye issue and are seemingly completely healthy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am very new to raising chickens.

If a vet is willing and familiar with treating eyes, that would be best, but it would be expensive. They treat eye injuries in dogs and cats, so the treatment would be the same. However, if that is not possible, I would use Terramycin eye oinmtnent 2-3 times a day, or ask your vet for an antibiotic drop with steroid in it. I would not be surprised if the sight in the eye is damaged since it looks like the lens has been pecked.

I always cringe when chicks try to peck each others eyes. I'm surprised I haven't had to deal with eye injuries.
