Hi Dawn! Nice to meet you! what you have read and heard is correct, my chickens LOVE porridge! It can get a bit messy though, especially when they flick it around.

But they love porridge as a treat and defiantly appreciate it when I give it to them

I make mine with water, although I have tried milk my lil girls don't seem to enjoy dairy to much. Except for yogurt, they love yogurt
