Hi all. I rescued a chicken back in August and am getting another one next week. This is my first time owning chickens. I’ve researched a lot (and dealt with far too much with one chicken so far- flystrike, shock, broken beak, and parasites). The pullet is doing well now, but I want to be prepared for any future emergencies.
What should I include in my first aid kit?
What I currently have:
Eyedropper
Syringe
Betadine
Colloidal Silver(healed the broken beak like a charm for any doubters)
Electrolytes

Some of the things I’ve though of but I’m not sure I need are a feeding tube, Corid, wormer, scalpel(in case of bumblefoot) suturing thread, B vitamins, and vetwrap.

Please share your experience!

Poultry Cell (multivitamin), Liquid B-12, Corid (for coccidiosis), chicken wormer, Tylan 50 (antibiotic that can be given orally or by injection), 1/4” 18 gauge needles (for antibiotic injections) and Neomycin (for open wounds),
