Chicken got caught - help

All you can do now is massage and hope. Is she breathing?
The problem with hanging upside down, even for short periods, is that it impairs a chicken's ability to breathe, and she may have suffered brain damage. If she is warm, there is a chance, but warmth requires oxygen too. I'm so sorry you're going through this- I'm nervous about string, baling twine, anything like that around any animals.

she's in shock, keep her in a box in a warm room, try to keep her head up.... use a towell for support.

I don't know if she is consious, she is blinking. We have her in front of the wood stove.

We just gave her a half a syringe of water, and she swallowed it!

Unfortunately, we did all we could for her. She died, due to a seizure, tonight at 7:18 PST. My sister and I did the best we could. Thanks everyone for posting.

Sorry she didn't make it.
