Chicken has a cone like bump on her back.

It's between her tail and her back. I don't know how we missed this I feel horrible

Can you have a vet take a look at it?

It's hard to know what that is. It could be a feather cyst or hard lump from an injury. If you are not finding her preening gland, then she may have an impacted preening gland, which would need to been taken care of, preferably by a vet.

I was told to soak with water and iodine and give her Tylan 50. I have been soaking it with Iodine but nothing seems to be really working. It's still hard and looks the same except the skin under the cone looks swollen, Gonna give her Tylan 50 tonight. Can I do this orally?
