Chicken has a sore

I have a white brahma and she is laying eggs and acts like her normal self. However, she has a sore on her bottom and no feathers. Its not infected and she is not messing with it. I'm just trying to find out what I can do for it. She let me put vasoline on it and hold her. Any ideas?

Is she living in a flock? Usually this is caused when other chickens peck at/around the vent. You'll probably need to separate her from the flock until she heals or they will continue to make it worse.

Well she is in a small flock but the sore is towards her bottom. Looks likes it was scratched. I will try to post a pic.
