Yes, it did look like a bug bite to me at first, which could possibly be it, but it doesnt lookt o much like fowl pox to me, either way, the chicken seems like kt’ll be fine.Looks like a minor injury, probably a peck or possibly a bug bite/sting. I would just keep an eye on it. Also possibly could be fowl pox. That is transmitted by mosquito usually, starts out looking like a small blister, will slowly darken and scab over, and the scab eventually drops off. That generally runs it's course in a few weeks and most birds do fine with it.

Should I try apply a luke warm cotton pad to it daily to help the healing process? I’ve read some people use various cotton pads soaked in tea I would just like to make sure she’s not in discomfort from itIt should go away in a few weeks![]()

Is there any need to pop abit of germolene on with a tiny plaster incase it is a bug bite? She seemed to enjoy having it soaked and fell asleepYes, that seems fine. make sure its not to hot!
Upon closer inspection it looks like an ingrown feather is trying to peak outIt looks like a small hard benign cyst. I had a rooster with one like that, and it did not get bigger or go away.
