Chicken hasn't pooped all day

Hi Everyone,

One of my hens has taken a bad turn today, and I truly am at a loss. She was fine when she was let out this morning, but got progressively less responsive throughout the day. I decided to isolate her in a separate run from the other hens, with food/grit and water available; I left her for a while and when I came back, I noticed that she hadn't pooped at all since isolated. I gave her crop a feel, and it doesn't feel particularly solid but she feels noticeably lighter than normal. I gave her a warm bath to try and encourage any blockages to come out, but I couldn't feel anything internally blocking her. When I was bathing her, she did eat some mushed up feed with water and a little bit of water by itself.

I'm going to take her to the vets in the morning (if she makes it), but any ideas in the meantime?

calcium tablet can help start things moving, esp if there's a problem with a stuck egg. the ones for humans work fine. just put in beak and close the beak. you can open her beak by gently pulling on the wattles when she is secured. then close beak and she will automatically swallow.
