Chicken having problems with laying eggs + 10cm sac attached to vent

From what I understand, he membrane was removed from the vent and the OP's hen is doing fine right now and has laid an normal egg.

Yep, she had. Thank goodness. Just hoping the good egg laying continues, and that she is getting enough calcium now, and that it wasn't a one time good egg deal.

I hope she continues to lay good normal eggs. Hopefully the proper feed, cutting out treats, and additional calcium will keep her in good working order!
