Chicken having trouble breathing

Hi everyone. I called all of the vets around here this morning, but they all said that they didn't take birds and couldn't give us any advice over the phone. So we went to TSC and got a general antibiotic. We are giving her the dosage for an Upper respiratory infection, since that is the closest thing on there to her condition. However, I can't get her to eat or drink, so the meds are not doing her much good. Her breathing hasn't really changed since last night, but when we handle her she starts sneezing and breathing harder. I don't know what else I can do, but wait it out and see if she pulls through.

can you try dribbling the medicated water along her beak, most of the time they'll drink it.. you can also get injectable antibiotics, but she really needs to drink liquids.

I moved her food and water closer to the corner she was sitting in, and I am pretty sure she drank some. It seems like the only thing she wants to eat is the cat food. Wont touch the Layena or scrambled eggs.

Well if she's eating cat food, that's better than nothing at this point. Sounds like she's pretty strong and as trying to make it through this.

bock sounds like a miracle to me that she is still with you, I hope she continues to improve, keep us updated.

Well, she is still fighting! I haven't actually witnessed her drinking, but she must be while I am gone during the day. She isn't gasping a bad today, and I think she is improving!
