Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Unfortunately our roos are only about 4 months old and not even crowing yet. I saw a post from a couple of months ago about hawks and someone posted about setting up a martin colony. I am assuming this is a purple martin colony. Will this help any? Do martins chase hawks away?
