I have an EE that lays a light tan egg. Not all lay blue or green.

Yaaa.... That egg went into brownies last night... recipie called for two so the other was a store bought egg... the difference was unbelievable... Blues egg so orange and thick compared to the store egg. Checked today but no egg....)-: maybe by thisafternoon. Thanks for the complements on Blue...I am proud of her.

She has to be one of the most beautiful Easter Eggers I've ever seen! Her color pattern reminds me a bit of Barnevelders.

She is actualy nicer looking in person, her head and tail has irradecent greens threw it which dont show up well in the pics. And she can fly pretty good to. She flew about 50 yards.

You know its funny about her.... I wanted Gunieas so the man (his name is Blue) came with the keets and brought a baby chicken with them to teach them how to stay home... I said Blue I dont want a chicken.... heheh but she was cute so I took her to. He was not sure if it was a male or female or what kind it was since the lady who gave it to him hatches eggs for everyone and sometime she ends up with a chick or two... so she could be anything Blue said he things Arucana? but she looks like some Americana pics I see so I am not sure what she could be.

About breeding her.... right now I just have a young RIR rooster so maybe she will have mixed RIR chicks someday. I do plan on getting a Barred Rock Rooster so maybe someday let them try.... I would like to breed her with something compatable... but I really have no Idea what.
