Chicken identification app

Yasss! Or one where you can input info (comb type, leg color, bantam or standard, etc) and have the app tell you which breeds it matches and maybe show photos.

OMG YES!!! I adore BYC, but that doesn’t mean I want to steal a billion peoples’ photos and pester y’all every few hours lol

Usually if you post pics you’ll get a response ASAP.

If I was in a store and needed to know, I’d start a post:

HELP I’M AT THE STORE SHOULD I BUY THESE? NEED TO KNOW ASAP

And then post pics and what the store “says” they are to see if it’s true

not bragging here but my youngest is a computer programming wizard, presently in college. He is a real life Sheldon Cooper but with programming, self taught Java script, programs gaming mods…his room looks like a command center at NASA.
I think this chicken ID app is an awesome idea and can be done on some level based on breed standards. Chick ID would have to be a ‘most likely’ but if the app had a community that could up vote or down vote to strengthen the possibility for accuracy then it could be a real valuable tool.

Lol. If they were a bunch of cockerels or had visible signs of disease the answer would be no. Otherwise an obvious yes.
