Chicken ill?

Ever since january, after one of my chickens started molting, she hasn’t been the same, well, she has been on and off until about a month ago when she got worse. She is 1 and a half years old. Recently she has had white stuff coming out her vent area, which i assume was vent gleet. We bathed her in warm, epson salt water to try and get rid of as much as we can. After we did that, today, she lost a bit of her balance, not that much, and couldn’t turn her neck which she couldn’t hold up. She keeps walking in circles because she cannot turn her neck forward. We have kept her separated from the rest of the flock for now. Help?

Has she been laying eggs since she molted?

The neck turning is a neurological symptom, you can try offering supportive vitamin therapy of 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily to see if that helps.
Offer some egg as a daily treat, this will help with the uptake of E.

Do you feel any bloat or fluid in her abdomen below the vent between her legs?

Nope, she has not been laying. We have all the vitamins but she will not let us put them into her mouth and she finds it hard to swallow anything. And yes, she does feel quite bloated. We will keep trying to feed her vitamins, that’s if she makes it over night.

Is her crop emptying overnight?

If her abdomen is bloated, then she may have a reproductive disorder. Fluid or a mass could be pressing on nerves causing some of her symptoms. Very hard to know unless you lose her and have a necropsy.

For a bird that has a neck that's twisted like that, you may need to straighten it for her if possible and hold her so she can swallow, eat/drink.

Vitamins can be crushed and added to little wet feed if she's unable to handle the pills.

Her crop is not emptying, we can feel her breast bone aswell.

We are also struggling to find out which way to turn her neck, we don’t want to break it.
