We had two BO hens hatch chicks this past summer. One hen hatched 6 chicks, and the other hatched 5 chicks. One died because she fell out of the nest boxes and my hens killed it Out of the 10 chicks that were left, 6 of them were roosters. We kept one (profile pic) and found good homes for the other 5 boys. We always end up with tons of roosters when we hatch out chicks.

I have also read farmers claim 80% females with the use of ACV. It's very healthy so worth a try.
