Chicken Introductions

We had two chickens and a rooster and just got two more chickens. The rooster is happy but two of the chickens are fighting to see who is the boss I guess. Will they settle down and "be friends"? I hope they don't hurt each other. Please help. Thanks.

They should settle down after a few weeks or so. I'm not sure though but I'm getting a couple new chickens too and that's what I've heard!

They should settle down soon, although there will always be a pecking order - the weaker hen might continue to get picked on when she gets in the other one's way. To combat this problem I have two feed and water stations so they can eat separately and nobody gets bothered.
