chicken is acting normal but breathing heavily

im not sure but she looks bigger than the other ameraucanas(EE) i have. the vet i spoke to yesterday siad it could take a couple weeks for it to clear up. I guess it's the waiting game now i will keep everybody posted thanks again for all the advice and support.

some vets think chickens are expendable. Why pay money to save a chicken. They dont want to bother treating a sick chicken and really dont know what they are doing. I am lucky to have a vet here that treats all kinds of animals. We took a rooster in with a sinus infection. And last winter my DD took her ratties in with pneumonia. She also had one with a mammary tumor that they removed. I had one vet tell me Really? you want me to treat a chicken?

Alright everyone, she's been out with the flock since tuesday and we haven't noticed any heavy breathing, took a little time for her to be accepted back with her flock, but she is doing wonderful!!! Thank you everyone again for all the great advice:)
