She does do that sometimes but she usually just comes and kind of "fights".

When I tried to peck back she escalated with raise hackles and rearing up ready to use feet. I submitted and now she just puts me in my place whenever she gets a chance.

Invest in stout boots and thick jeans and all will be well.
When Dotty isn’t putting me in my place she will settle down near me and chat. So it isn’t all bad!

Yes. I have to put on boots so she doesn't hurt my feet. But when I grab her, she sometimes sleeps in my arms. Those moments are pleasing.
