How can you tell if they have worms
Sure thing...sorry aamanda and bc
Not plain in my eyes!! Very pretty!!
I will check that tomorrow night. When all is calm in the coop. With "Guys" set up and the amount of birds he had I don't think there is any way he could keep track of who was laying and was not. BC was not in molt and has not molted. So I can assume she is still under a year. My coop gets 14 hours of light a day so we will see. I do know stress can cause them to stop laying as well. And it will take the red out of their face. But we are coming up on three weeks that she has been here. Next year I will let her hatch out some eggs. It will be a cross I know. My mutt RIR roo lol but still. I want something of her to pass on. Next year I will have a bunch of Heritage RIR chicks to add in so she will move up in he pecking order lol.Her face still looks pinkish..but she's getting close to point of lay...I don't think Guy knows where his eggs were coming from..LOL
Her comb won't get big like your rir but her face will get red when she's ready.
All you have to do is feel the bones around her rear end...if they are close
Together she's not ready...if there's a space for an egg to pass...egg time is near.
