Since EEs are hybrids, there is a chance they will go broody. Do you have a video of her?
Before you give her chicks or eggs, put a egg in front of her and see if she tucks it under her. Then to make sure she is willing to sit, give her golf balls and see if she will sit for a long period.
Broodys also lay flat like a pancake on the nest.
I was going to try with some dummy eggs. I am worried that she would sit for a little bit then quit. Now that you mention it she was hunkered down pretty low in there. She is not due to lay until tomorrow I will get out the dummy eggs.
