Chicken just Swallowed my hair tie

Hi, my two-month-old bantam golden laced wyandotte just swallowed my hair tie (there was no metal piece attached thank goodness) and he seems to be acting pretty normal and pooping normally, but I am still FREAKING OUT. Has this happened to anyone else? Will my chicken be okay?
