When i started out my friends gave me 2 roosters even though i was promises a roo and a hen. They insisted i take both and even when i told them no i still ended up with both. Fast forward the story a few months i recently rescued another rooster who i kept in quarantine because he was new and separated from the other roosters for a week or more but in a cage where they could interact with each other while I released him out of the cage yesterday and my original rooster kept attacking him no matter how many times I pull them off he would go right back no matter how many times I separate tthem he would find a way back to him and I finally got them off of him and I was able to go take my nap I have to work an overnight shift last night when I woke up I came back out and I found my new rooster who's Kevin half Mile in the woods with his head and neck laying on the ground breathing heavy covered in blood and my other rooster skits still attacking him scared and shocked bleeding everywhere. I knew he couldnt stand up unless he has two I brought him outside and had him in that pen again originally but every time he heard by other rooster he would stand up and pick up his head to look around and start making noises and then lays head right back down so I pick him up and I put them in my lap again and held onto him and he laid down and fell back asleep I brought them inside and put them in a dog kennel with fluffy bedding and food and electrolyte water because I know he's not going to eat yet but he needs till to get nutrients and he's finally laying down and he's been getting rest I ended up getting a hold of the previous owners of my other two roosters who told me that they gave me the wrong roosters skitz because he is a known chicken killer but they never told me that and because of that my other rooster paid the consequences I had to cull skits and now I'm tending to Kevin my question is is can he have a broken neck or is it just sore because of the battle he doesn't seem to be in any pain when I put when I touch it or put any sort of pressure on it it looks like it kind of weird bend like he's got a knot in the one side he'll pick it up like I said sometimes but he puts it right back down and he is in shock so he's just been resting I keep him drinking water he keeps getting up and getting water himself my question I guess is is it possible his next broken did he live through something like that it's been 24 hours now and his use more where than he was yesterday but I just worry about his neck he still pooping normal no blood hasn't eaten any advice would be great I don't want to lose my rooster because of negligence of another Farm and put in my pocket risk
