Chicken lice!!!! Please help!!

Anything with Permethrin will work; Poultry Dust, Permethrin 10 Spray (concentrate needs to be mixed), Martins Horse & Stable Spray, etc... You also need to clean out the coop of bedding and spray it down.

Where are you located? Can you get someone to pick some up for you?
Would this work?

Dear Penny
We live in the backwater of world in one of the poorest countries (Mozambique) where lice really is a problem and yet I found a local vet who sells a powder that we know as Carbadust. I use it on the chickens, chicks, my dogs and if needed on my Moluccan cockatoo. It works and is cheap enough. I'll try and upload a photo.

DE is not recommenced but I use it as a preventative. I would not advise you to spray your chicken with that Insect Repellant, it's contents probably toxic. Another product that we used years ago but no longer recommend is the Garden Dust Sevin 5, think the main ingredient is Carbaryl (Jan Aucamp). The USA FDA has removed alot of "chemicals" from our markets.

Okay

She won’t walk eat or drink and I’m starting to get really concerned- is she just cold from being wet from her bath? Did the peppermint oil do anything bad? (I didn’t put it on her head or near her face at all)

Is she dry and warm? Exhausted? Pale and anemic from the lice?
Have you washed that oil off? Do that, is case it's toxic for her.
Then, let her rest and warm up, and try yummy treats a little later. Applesauce? Corn?
Mary
I did rinse it- and I’ve been holding her to let her dry and warm up. I offered her a strawberry (which she normally loves) and some chick feed but she was not interested.
