A week ago one of our buff orphingtons began to not put weight on one of her legs after flying over a 4 ft high fence. We have isolated her in a dog crate to limit her mobility and have her heal. She acts completely normal, just limps and does not want to put weight on her foot. It seems as if she leads her step with her toes and as the pad comes down, she takes the weight off. We inspected her leg and foot and did not see anything. Should we take her out of isolation and just let her roam again with the other chickens or keep her isolated to try and rest the leg/foot? The video is from 7 days after I noticed she was limping and after a week of isolation. Thanks for any advice.
