5 or 6 weeks ago, my rooster developed what looked like limping. I suspected bumble-foot. He thinks that I am Beelzebub and that he must eliminate me. So I don't normally handle him.
But it got worse and I was able to see the bottom of his feet without me picking him up.
The always honest internet said that it was possibly a vitamin deficiency. I began giving all of the chickens 1/2 a scrambled egg per chicken per day - adding about a teaspoon of nutritional yeast per chicken. Also gave them one of the chicken water additives in their water every other day. It cleared up in about a week. As a bonus, my favorite and older hen began laying again after a couple of YEARS of being barren. I'm wishfully incubating those eggs.
