Chicken little isn't laying yet.

Hey all. I have a small flock of 4 hens that are almost a year old. They are Easter eggers from differnt places but all about the same age. They all get along and are cared for the same way. Three have resumed laying while my littlest one, whom is a runt has never laid an egg. She is half the size of the other hens and comes from RIR/Easter egger. None of the flock she came from where bantams but she is as small as one. She is my favorite hen and is so pleasant but I am not sure why has never laid. Do some hens just never lay?

She could have a reproductive defect, just like anyone else. How are you sure she's never laid? Have you separated her?

I am pretty sure, but not positive. We have only ever had a max of 3 eggs and usually, it is 1 or 2 eggs from the four hens each day. She is so much smaller than the other hens that I would suspect her eggs would be a smaller size as well. I've seen the others lay, I've never seen chicken little lay or even go into the nest area.

nope she isn't laying... not a big deal but it is just odd to me.
