I suppose it’s possible, but I’m thinking unlikely, that Potsmama truly was inquiring, after almost two years, how the bird was doing. I shouldn’t assume anything; I’ve personally fallen down these rabbit holes before...

Yes, I saw this thread on the New Posts section and decided to check it out- then I realized it was from almost 2 years ago- I wish it wouldn't do that!

An update would be nice. I was about to reply that with both legs gone, euthanasia seems like the most humane solution. They don't make little chicken wheel chairs, and the animal's quality of life would be poor.

Agreed- hopefully, the chicken is still living happily now ... or it was put out of its misery.

Old post, but...
My goodness. She lost both legs? That should have been tended to waaay before this happened. Also, Epsom salts and bath soaks don’t cure frostbite. Insulation in the coop will.
