I laughed when I read Drumstick Divas post "Reading your post, I'm afraid of Lucy myself" and felt bad when I read Urban Flock's post about having to give their Silver Laced Wyandotte away. Luckily, things are going good with Lucy accepting the two new girls.

We let them meet while they were free-ranging and the two young ones quickly learned that they should not get too close to Lucy. The best news is that all Lucy did was just chase them a little. There might have been some stink-eye going on as well!

We are still continuing to keep Alice and Sophie separated from Lucy and Mabel when we can't watch what's happening. It sure is good that we kept our original small chicken tractor. (Big enough for four chickens? Yeah, right.

) But it certainly has come in handy now!
