Chicken math is contagious

View attachment 4172881This is likely not a Cinnamon Queen. Wait for it to mature more.
Next group are Buff Cochin Bantams and a Red Pyle Old English Game Bantam or a White Laced Red Cornish. Check comb
Next are Red Cochin Bantams
The blue chicks are likely Blue Old English Game Bantams
Hoover’s Bantam Cochins are often frizzled
@Rhodebar Lover I just noticed these darker striped chicks have willow colored legs . . . I'm guessing that means they're not brown leghorns . . . they're also in between sizes (larger than the bantams, smaller than the other standard chicks the same age). Does that narrow it down any? Maybe I should quit staring at them and just be patient, lol.

I’m not seeing clearly willow legs by any means. Some birds just don’t have bright yellow legs at first. My Legbars were vaguely willow at first and developed into more clearly yellow later. Unless they’re clearly green, I wouldn’t say that rules out Leghorn at all. I have poor connection right now but will post my pictures so you can see later!

I'll get better pictures of their legs as well. I did have a few chicks change leg colors on me too. They went from black and orange to slate grey, lol.

Here’s a before and after of terrible picture quality!

Update: the little "not a Cinnamon Queen" chicks turned out to be bantams.

It's a good thing I already had the other 7 or I'd be livid with the mix up. These two are very very (like throw themselves against the brooder walls and scream in terror) skittish and I don't plan to keep them.

I also think I might have a pair, one cockerel, one pullet.

All the bantams turn 5 weeks tomorrow. The sooner I know the genders of these two the sooner I can attempt to rehome them.
