Welcome to BYC!!!
Chicken Math is so so so real!
Started with 4 then like maybe 2 months later I had about 75:eek:
And I add/multiply and subtract alot throughout the months/years. ;)

This is absolutely awesome and so so so accurate!!! I freaking love your chicken math!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been raising chickens for about 20 years and out of convenience I've always just ordered a dozen or so chicks all of the same breed, so last year I set on the quest to do something different... after a year break with no chickens... I got the idea to have a mixed flock so I have more to stare at than just one overall brown color.... I started with two leghorns 2 Barred Rocks, 2 speckled Sussex..... by the time they came out of the brooder I had to add four Amber links... an Easter Egger a black sex link and another Leghorn... the winter went by and I lost one of my leghorns it broke its thighs somehow and I culled....-1 and I just had to buy 3 to replace that one I got a black langshan another Leghorn and a Rhode Island red.
I had to sneak them in while DH was at work lol

Sneaking rarely works. They will find out that you have new ones in the flock!
