Blue laced reds. Super stoked about how they're feathering out right now.

Said goodbye to these guys last night. Oliver the OE roo and the unnamed Cuckoo Maran roo are off to find a new home thanks to a local guy who rehomes roos. He said it'll be easy though since they're so docile and good looking.

Sad, but it is what it is.

Did you ever replace rudy?

Not with another GLW roo. I have a Black Langshan roo that we're going to keep for now and play with breeding to the splash hen I have. I think one of the BLRW's I picked up may also be a roo, but not sure yet.

Wow Rudy, and Belle are beautiful. Chickens are addictive for sure My son acquired a pair of Jap Bantam. Being a teen, his attention to their upkeep wasn't consistent. So I took over and now I'm hooked. The hen is sitting on about 6 eggs for about fifteen days now. I dont have the heart to take them from her, as she is such a gentle bird. I hope for the best.Heard about a lethal gene Japanese Bantam have so don't know what to expect. Jax, Fl
