Yeh my ol' lady, oops I mean boss, has the same inoculation device. I prefer to cook with cast iron, but I am thinking about switching to all aluminum teflon, just for malleability.
Your Father is a wise man.Yep you are dead on with the idea of aluminum. I prefer cast iron myself but you have to view it in the same manner as buying "The Boss" a sidearm. My father told me years ago which was good advice when I was looking to purchase my wife a handgun. He said and I quote " Son, you do realise you are about to give a handgun to the one person you are going to pissoff the most in this world?" Needless to say, I ended up buying her a pushbroom and a puppy dog.![]()
As I set here showing these to the "Boss", she says "I have never hit you in the head with a cast iron pan!", and smiled. I am thinking that she shouldn't have to be that specific.Yep you are dead on with the idea of aluminum. LMAOOOOO.... When I read to the boss what I was typing she said and I quote "Careful before you get inoculated a second time!" I would say my wife has never hit me in the head with a cast iron pan but then I would be telling a lie.As I set here showing these to the "Boss", she says "I have never hit you in the head with a cast iron pan!", and smiled. *((she just snickered and called me a "prince", (I'll let you guess the real word), while I am typing this.))
Me: "Anything else to add?"
Her: "Meh.....Nah."
I should have been a stenographer.![]()
Ssshhhh.....my better half almost heard, and she knows you will actually refrain from buying more. Don't want her to know it works. We will end up cookin with mess kits. Is that what the eye in cast iron handles is for? I always thought it was for hanging on a nail, but it might be for a pad lock.LMAOOOOO.... My wife uses in the eye in handle for a heavy leather wrist lanyard.Ssshhhh.....my better half almost heard, and she knows you will actually refrain from buying more. Don't want her to know it works. Everybody should have their second baby first. Second babies are SOOO much easier! (Tongue firmly planted in cheek!)
This literally turned into a talk thread... lol I like it![]()

My TSC has Anconas and Penedesencas (sp?) right now, and I'm trying like heck not to come home with some of each.We just bought 4 the other day (2 full-sized Cochins, and 2 Brahmas), and before that, we got 2 speckled sussex and 2 brown leghorns, and before that, we got 4 EEs, and an Isa Brown, and before that...you get the idea!
My husband is
