Welcome! Sounds like you've got a nice assortment of animals. I'd love to see the pictures of the horses if you have any! What kind of horses?

And I know what you mean about chicken math! It hasn't struck me yet BUT I keep looking at the Meyer Hatchery website and threads here etc. And finding a million breeds and colors I want! If it was up to me and I had the room or time I'd probably have like hundreds of chickens :lau

The lack of room is the only reason I haven't yet.

We just built a new coop that they are moving to soon but it's only 4x8 so can only really hold 8 or maybe a few more if I build a big run or free range. So that's the only reason I'm not adding more. Because I know my dad does NOT want to build another one after we just built one :p

I do regret not building bigger now though.

Maybe I'll build another one myself. :lau

welcome to BYC! sounds like you have a wonderful collection of hens and grand-chicks. every year we succumb to chicken math, acquire a few extra cuties in the spring and then see how it shakes out at the 6 month mark, rehoming whoever doesn't make the cut, and bringing the population back in line with the city requirements of 6 adults (an adult being over 6 months of age).
