Dang I just realized I am at the Craigslist phase, I haven't purchased but have asked about a few babies. Looks like next is breaking down and purchasing an incubator!!!

Soooo true! It's like a kid in a all you want candy shop. So many colors and breeds!

Started with 4 rir 2cornish cross=6 went back 2 days later I needed a roo got 1 b.orpington hen 1 roo=8 went back 2 weeks later bc hubby says he saw some he wanted I said ok u get a couple I get a couple I wanted barred rock...walked out with 4 barnevelders (his pick and I didn’t know what they were at the time and 4 barred rock (more than a couple)=16 realized 5 out of the 8 second batch were cockerels....hubs went barred rock pullets 50 cents I said grab 4 replace 5 boys that will go to freezer he walked out with 8=24. Cornish cross came of processing age this week...down to 22....after 5 cockerels become of age for processing will be down to 17 but realizing the one I named after mi sister my in fact be a cockerel also I’ve decided I’m not eating my sister so I may have to get more hens!

Want to trade husband, I still haven't told mine about 4 coming from hatchery the 28th. Best part is I need him to pick them up because I work.
