So I picked up 15 chicks last week. They are doing great! I am raising them to 4 weeks when they move to the family farm & get care from a bunch of us.

Today at Tractor Supply, chicken math happened! (We can fit 24 in the large coop, and 8 in the small coop so all the chicks will be fine together in the large one lol.

Here are the newest girls. 3 ISA Brown, 3 Egger, & 3 Rustic Rambler. ❤️ One of the ISA has MASSIVE pasty butt so fortunately we cleaned her up immediately and she pooped more then I ever saw a chick poop. Poor honey must’ve been stuck for awhile. Thank goodness we caught it quick. Going to a baby shower & the little cousins will be naming them shortly!
More pics to come!

Thank goodness we have another shed-converted coop that is being moved to the farm in the fall, so there can be more babies next year! With the weather getting cold in mid to late October, this is the latest I feel comfortable with new chicks until after winter.
