Chicken Math

Don't forget that multiple birds of the same breed only count as 1.
11 silkies(1),
3 sebrights(1),
4 polish(1),
2 aussies(1),
2 amaucanas(1),
2 doms(1),
1 prod. red(1),
2 orpingtons even though 1 is bantam still(1),
5 ee's(1),
1 jap (1),
1 wyandotte(1),
2 mutt roos(1),
1 american game(1),
1 campine(1),
1 modern game(1),
1 RIR bantam(1).
So I have 40 chickens but with chicken math it is only 16. Maybe I need more.

Hi Honey they have a deal going on buy 3 now and get 3 more for 1/2 price and if you do then they give you 4 additional chicks for no more money at all . Can you believe what a great deal it is?

"I just got rid of my 3 roos... that means I can get 5 more hens! Hmm... Nobody is giving their hens away, so I'll just hatch my own!"

4mos later

"Hmm... I only got 3 hens out of that hatch and those 9 roos are all SOOOO sweet- I wanna keep them forever! *gasp* I know! I'll hatch some more so I can get the original 2 hens that I was looking for, plus some extra for my new roos!"

1 month later

"I just got rid of 9, loud, annoying, and bossy roos.... that means I can get 12 more hens! I'm not sure how many of those new chicks are roos- I'd better hatch some more & make sure I have enough hens"

let's get some chickens for fresh eggs and some yard art! 3 will be enough...our city ordinance says the limit is 25!!!! What? Only crazy people have that many!

2 yrs later....

12 laying hens
4 teenage silkies
6 week old silkies
5 teenage ameraucanas...

so that would make it 27!....but chicks don't really count.
