Since they are chicks not full grown chickens of course they cannot count. Then there is the fact that one or both may be male so since males do not count (when it comes to counting chickens of course

) they cannot count. AND of course silkies are bantam so again even if both were females that would only add up to one small chicken when and only when they are laying. (Pullets cannot count either)

2 chicks - 2chicks (due to unknown sex) - up to one additional chicken (due to being bantam) - 2 even if they are female since they are not laying =
