Chicken math

I am going to sell a bunch of pullets at a swap next Saturday. I need my numbers to be under 20 to keep happy hens.
Who to sell and who to keep is the hard part.
I know I am keeping
5 bantams
3 polish
1 BA
1 Oversized and getting old Hamburg that no longer lays and even when she did it was rare
roll.png

1 EE that seems to be developing a slight cross beak
3 Buff Orpingtons

Options for sale are
Dark Brahma up to 4
light Brahma 1
Buff Brahma 1
EE 1
Partridge rock up to 6
BSL up to 3
Iowa Blue up to 2

In truth I want to keep them all. I have old laying hens that are headed to butcher as well.
How do I choose which ones to sell???? I love them all.

So this weeks total, had 2 hens die (1 has not been well for a long time but antibiotics never made her better), 3 chicks died, sold 13. So thursday i added 60 cornish xs and tomorrow I am going to pick up 6 silkie chicks, 12 Isbar eggs and 12 cream legbar eggs. Saw peafowl for the first time up close, gorgeous birds. Maybe havta get me some of those!!!

I live in Manitoba, Canada. There is a big hatchery an hour and a half away from me but they deliver to a feed store thats only 25 minutes away. Berg's Hatchery in Russell. Paid $2 each. Straight run. The hatchery is for sale if anyone is interested. Listed at 1.3 million.

I could buy 50..... my wife wouldn't notice..... I could play dumb..... I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM!! OR..I won them in a chicken contest!!!
Yea, that might work...a contest! !!
