I am finally going to join in on all of the chicken excitement. I've been reading quite a bit and learning a lot on this web site since we got 10 baby chicks almost 5 months ago. We're down to 5 Buffs and 4 Wellsummers because we had cull a wellsummer because she had a severe scissor beak and was starving. It's nice to be a part of a supportive community of chicken parents!

I forgot to post a picture. We had a bit of a flooding situation in our backyard about a month ago. The girls had to be rescued!

BYC has a very useful learning center

We got a 1/2 inch of rain total last year so what is flooding

I am sure my ducks and geese would have loved that
