I had country music on for them when they were babies. They are used to it and it soothes them. Sometimes I put it on for them when I am outside. I can tell the difference in thier attitudes, it calms them down. We really listen to all genres of music around here but the chooks really seem to like country and classical the most.

Classic country is on in my run right now. I also think it's a deterent to predadors....Not sure if it helps or not but I believe the hawks can here people or whatever.

Wow, my chicken really likes 90s music. I play What is Love - Haddaway and she'll fall asleep on one foot almost every time.
