I really like this batch of mutts that I hatched out. This guy is only 20 weeks, hasn't started crowing yet, and is already several inches taller than my alpha roo.

Here's some recent photos of my mutt babies!

I don't know who mommy is, but daddy is clearly a barred rock.

Another barred rock mix, fresh out of the egg and drying off in the "baby box"


"Bob". His mama is a bantam cochin and his daddy is an Easter Egger. Neither one is white, so his coloring fascinating to me.


A mix of my home-grown mutts and some chicks I ordered online.

My favorite mutt baby so far, Kismet is a Production Red/Easter Egger mix.

EE Mix. I'm not sure if his father is our white rooster Mars or our EE rooster Gryffindor.

Grace, a bantam cochin/bantam d'uccle mix. She and Bob are inseparable.

Some home-grown mutts, hatched in my brand-new incubator. Most of them claim Gryffindor the EE as their father.

Our three newest arrivals, hatched by one of our broody mamas. Looks like we have a buff bantam cochin mix, an australorp mix, and another Easter Egger.

I think so too. I decided I'm going to breed the first rooster, her hatchmate, to her to see if I can get more chicks that show that type of lacing on the chest.
