Chicken "mutt" club!!!

Mutts last day in their cheap brooder. It caved in. LOL! No harm done & they are safe in the grow-out coop now.

I am considering creating a mutt chicken....can I post pics of the parents (who are purebred) and ask what a mix would be like in your opinions? Or is that against the thread rules?

Of course I will post pics of my mutts! Ugly or not!
Here are the possible parents. Araucana Rooster and Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hens. The wyandottes blue color looks almost white in the pics but in real life it is more of a medium blue color. What do you think the results of these pairings would create?

I think I am going to give a shot. I am VERY curious! They all have very nice temperaments so even if the offspring was ugly they would most likely still be nice pets and lay eggs....As soon as I make sure my hen that has been acting broody is committed I am going give here some eggs. I am SO excited!

They are both gorgeous! I bet no matter what the babies will be extremely cute, and probably fluffy-butted

Beautiful birds! I have no idea what the outcome would be, but it would be exciting just to try it anyways!
I'll be hatching some mutt eggs for Easter! Yay! Cuckoo Marans over Black Star & Cuckoo Marans over Silver Gray Dorking. Maybe even some pure Marans too.
