Wyandotte silkie?

Nope to Wyandotte, he is quite tiny. his father was a wh. Silkie crossed with a mf d'Uccle, and mother was either a silver laced sebright or a different strain of mf d'Uccle. The Sebrights would lay in my broody d'Uccles' nests and now i can't figure their babies out. He looks kinda pee'd on but he is that citron color. Can't really figure out his genetics fully. LOL. He's one of my buddies tho, very friendly like a Silkie. Have some pics of him and his sister as chicks: (silkie x D'uccle) x sebright strains

another bantam mixed roo from their flock. it's Baby Boo!

This is Sate, couldn't tell you what went into him. Black head, tail, and foot feathers, with a dark orange body. LOVE his little chest polka dots.

Silkie Daddy - Buff Orp Mama ( have a second just like her, but smaller in size)

Same Daddy - NH Red Mama

All 3 girls have black feathered feet, the chicks with the 5th toe all passed away.
The one above has the black eyes & blue ears. This one also likes to come into the house to have a snack, I can call to her from across the yard & she will come running to the deck. Unfortunately their Daddy died a few days ago, so I am on the hunt for a new roo. Am curious, if I get another silkie roo, and one of these 3 are the Mama, I wonder how strong the silkie gene will be?

I think the Mutt mix of chicken is fun, it is interesting to see what blend comes out of cross breeding.

I have 20 potential mutts in my incubator now, due to hatch right around Valentine's Day.

Here's some new photos of my mutt babies from the November hatch.

Chick #2, who I have recently named Kismet.
Her mother is a production red hen, and her father is Gryffindor, our EE rooster.

Dad Mom?

Chick #3. Her father is the above-mentioned EE rooster and a buff orpington hen.

Dad again! Maybe mom?

Chick #4. Father unknown, but his mother is Owlette, an EE hen.

Mom Dad

Chick #1. A bantam mutt. Mom is a buff banty cochin, and dad is anyone's guess. I originally thought she was pure cochin, but the distinct tail feathers blew that theory out of the water...

Chick #5 (and #6)
Cinco and Seis share the same mother as Uno--a buff bantam cochin. Cinco's father is unknown, but Seis is undoubtedly the offspring of our bantam lavender d'uccle, Spice.
