Aww, my friends down the street have a chicken named Peepers & she is their favorite...all she has to do is call her name & tap her arm & Peepers will come running & jump up & sit on her arm!

Its also the pet name of our cat Smokey...because she hides & "peeps" out at us...so LOVE the name!

my favorite name of all of my chickens is JOHANN SEBASTIAN BOCK! Get it! Ha! like the Musician! Johann Sebastian Bach but instead its Bock... cuz itsa chicken...ha...haha... my second favorite is Tigi Bedhead, beacause he was a silkie mix and had crazy feathers!

Mine are "Momma" (a Buff Orptington who will never be bred), "Tripp" (the Barred Rock who acted stoned when we first got her), and "Dorothy Gale" (the Columbian Wyandotte because Wyandottes come from Kansas).

I love "Cluck Kent". I love this, too.

Just name my new chicks Gaia, Aura, Tallulah, and Serafina. My little element chicks.

I love the name Lou the Lone, it's so endearing. Then again, I'm a sucker for the oddball.

My father had many sisters and I started naming my chickens after then. Nora and Hettie are brown leghorns then Mary a lavender araucana and Dorothy a welsummer. Finally I have named my lovely barnevelder Bernadette after my mother. I also have 4 white leghorns who are not named at all.
