Chicken Name Bragger contest - No real prize, just braggin rights!

:) Such fun names!! I like the "food" related ones. I wonder if that helps those who eventually put their layers into freezer camp disconnect when it's time to turn them into supper??

I have: Scarlet, Charlotte, Renny, Hermoine, Irene, Dahlia, Violet, Pippa and our roo, Stewie.

Just got a new rooster, his name is "The Situation", as I got him in the mail from New Jersey... get it?? Jersey Shore, The Situation??!?!?!?!

Peepers from the song Jeepers creepers where you get them peepers because the bird hatched with a bad eye that needed wiped alot. Than theres Stirfry a silkie roo, Grease and Oil are black sumatras and Mud is a dunn sumatra, theres Two Ton Sally a 2 year old meatie, Tuffie is a mix that came out with tuffs from his araucana dad

My daughter loves to find the most "creative" names...ie, obnoxious...hee hee. Our white leghorn rooster in BonQuiQui and she used to have a BB Red rooster named Mr. Freshy Fresh...which was more hilarious when she won at a show & they announced his name

Our black Silkie rooster is named Skips since he limped when we first got him because of bumblefoot, it just stuck. Two of our young roosters are Rigby & Mordecai..obviously they watch cartoons. Our Red Star is Chloe or something like that, but I just call her Little Red Hen & that seems to have stuck too.

I just realized we seem to name our roosters more than our hens
