Lol I know I love him they are my first hens but when I was a little girl I had two roosters who were super friendly I loved them so much too & i actually went to a feed store that had baby chicks when i asked what kind they were they said redsexlinks so it was just a wonderful surprise they were so cute but any type I know I would love I actually am thinking of trying to find a silkie but places were I live it's hard to find with chicks but I got my two beautiful girls who I can't wait to see them as full grown hens but I also don't want them to grow lol I want them to stay my babies forever

I named one line of Marans with tasty names, though I haven't tried one yet... Roaster, Broiler, and Fryer Tuck. Wondering if I should name future roosters something like 'Fancy Feast' or 'Giblet'.

Well my RIR finally started laying the most beautiful brown and tasty eggs! Photos are on my profile page in album Precious First egg.

Yippee maybe my callouses will soften since I'm not twiddling my thumbs any more.
