Good luck! Bantams are usually sold unsexed. We will have to wait until we live out in the country and probably get some hatching eggs to put under a broody or buy a breeding pair or trio but that's at least a few years down the road. For now we are in a small college town with small lots. No ordinances against roosters or limits on how many chickens, just the same rules that apply to other animals, keeping noise and smell down and no running at large. We have 5 pullets now, may get a few more chicks in the spring. You can see their names and breeds below in my signature.Autumnhearth: No, I don't have any breeders yet. I did see someone who had Dutch, but they were sold as straight run and we live where roosters aren't allowed. If you seard "dutch chicken breeders california", you might find something. I believe that's what I searched. If straight run are fine for you, then it probably won't be as hard for you to find a breeder.
