We got two chicks from the farm store early this year. My daughter named hers Sprinkles (prod red) and my son named his T-Bone, then changed it to Ham Wing (Bantam). Well Sprinkles killed Ham Wing in a matter of days, so we went back and got another production red. They seemed to get along just fine. My son kept the name Ham Wing. Ultimately, Sprinkles turned out to be a rooster. So we have a mean rooster named Sprinkles, and a Hen named Ham Wing. I'm not sure if my son sees the irony in naming his chicken T-Bone or Ham Wing, but it's funny to me.
