Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

My kids named all of our chickens - Rhode Island Red is Foxy, Brahma is Chloe , Jersey Giant is Dora and Americana is Chicky

A Good way to tell chickens apart, or make them so you can, is take 2 different tie nail paints (NOT red, the chicken will attempt to eat it) and paint 1 nail on the chickens right foot each a different color. My 2 Adult Barred Rocks, Go-Pro and Pollito, are VERY similar, and when they are full grown, I will not be able to tell them apart, so I took Go-Pro an painted one of her nails Blue, and I took Pollito and painted one of her nails Green. Now i'm able to tell them apart, and they are fashionable XD. ( Hint: You'll want to make sure the nail polish is children nail polish, the chickens may still attempt to eat it, even if it isn't red)

I have no idea what breed mine are, I think tomorrow I'll take pictures and see if anyone around here knows. The kids named all of them, I think they did pretty good!

My black and silver hen is "Betty"
My pure white hen is "Susan"
My brown and gold hen is "Bertha"
The two new chicks are "Peck" and "Scratch", lol.

Do you mean start a new thread with a new topic? First go to this page and decide which section of the forum you would like: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/

Then click on the name of the section of the forum in blue on the right, like "Raising Baby Chicks." That will bring you to that section and at the top in a blue rectangle is "Start a New Thread." Click there.

But if you happen to be in the section where you want to start a new thread, like here in "Pictures and Stories," then go to the top left under the red name of this thread and click "Start a new thread."
